Global Fund for Children

GFC has very specific "small-scale" eligibility criteria to ensure they are reaching truly grassroots groups: Applicant Type: Registered local non-profits led by individuals who live and work in the community they serve. Budget Constraint: Preference is given to organizations with an annual budget between $25,000 and $75,000 USD. (They rarely fund organizations with budgets exceeding $200,000 USD). Leadership: Strong preference for Youth-Led organizations or those with a high degree of youth participation in decision-making. Exclusions: They do not fund local offices of international NGOs, government agencies, or groups focused exclusively on research/advocacy without direct service.
