Grant Finder ("we", "us") is a Shared Data initiative of the Foundation for Shared Impact. This page explains how we handle personal data you provide on this site, especially marketing subscriptions.
What we collect
- Email address and optional name when you create an account or subscribe to a newsletter.
- Newsletter product choices (Grant Finder and, if selected, Charity Finder) and consent / confirmation timestamps.
- Security data processed by Cloudflare Turnstile when those checks are enabled on public forms.
- Account and usage data needed to provide sign-in, saved opportunities, and site operation.
Why we collect it
- Operating the funding directory and account features.
- Sending the Grant Finder newsletter and related Shared Data marketing updates when you have consented.
- Confirming newsletter subscriptions and processing unsubscribe requests.
- Preventing abuse and maintaining security of public forms.
Direct marketing
We only use your personal data for direct marketing of Shared Data product newsletters when you have given consent, for example by submitting a newsletter signup form on this site (and confirming your email), optionally opting into the Charity Finder newsletter, or opting in at account signup when offered.
You may consent to Grant Finder only, Charity Finder only (via Charity Finder or optional cross-opt-in), or both. Newsletter delivery is processed using Resend. List membership is stored in our shared database (per product) and synced to Resend Contacts and product Segments for broadcasts.
You may withdraw consent at any time by: using the unsubscribe control in a marketing message; visiting grant-finder.org/newsletter/unsubscribe (you can choose Grant Finder, Charity Finder, or all Shared Data marketing); or contacting us at info@shared-impact.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop service messages required for your account.
Service providers
We do not sell your personal data. Processors may include Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (transactional and marketing email), Cloudflare (Turnstile), Google Analytics (if enabled), and Vercel (hosting).
