Au Bak Ling Charity Trust - Rice-Giving Scheme

Target Beneficiary: * Primary: Low-income families, underprivileged elderly, and individuals in reduced circumstances. Priority: Given to those not receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) or other periodic financial aid. Eligibility Criteria: Must be a Hong Kong resident. Average monthly household income must not exceed 75% of the city's median household income. Referral Requirement: All applications must be referred by a registered social worker (from SWD, NGOs, HA Medical Social Services, or schools)

Application Eligibility - Applicant must be a Hong Kong resident; - The average monthly household income for the last three months must be equal to or less than 75% of the median household income of Hong Kong. (please refer to item 8 on page 2) - Applicant who is not a recipient of the Comprehensive Social Security (CSSA) Scheme or other periodical financial support will receive priority handling of his or her application. - Each household can only submit one application, regardless of the number of member(s) in the household. - Applicant cannot be the beneficiary of this scheme more than one year. (unless all family members are aged 65 or above, or some of the family members receive Disability Allowance.) - Eligible applicant whose application is approved cannot receive any rice packs distributed by other scheme or organization from April 2023 to March 2024.
