Description
In the shadow cast by glowing neon lights, there are the poor, the sick, the helpless and the powerless. For them, each day is a day without hope; each day is a day of struggle for survival. An emergency relief fund was initiated by the Chest in early 2004 to provide rapid response to people who find themselves in an emergency financial crisis for which other sources of help may not be available.
